Camps vs. Clinics
When it comes to volleyball sports camps and more, you may note that Wintrust hosts both clinics and summer camps. So, what is the difference?
Clinics are typically much shorter spans of time, sometimes only as long as a single day. They are focused on a singular sport and are typically a bit more high-intensity, dedicated to practice and training.
Camps, on the other hand, are usually a longer period of time. At Wintrust, our camps typically last about one week each. Camps can focus on one sport or multiple and emphasize training, practice, and having fun!
Wintrust’s Approach To Youth Sports
At Wintrust, sports camps are a great place to teach kids how to play sports and teach them essential life skills and lessons. We want to be both exciting and informative as kids learn to play. Our priority in our sports camps is making sure that our campers have fun, but we also want to make sure that some friendly competition is still part of their experience.
Camp Offerings
At Wintrust Sports Complex, we offer a variety of different camps, from half-day basketball sports camps to full-day adventures! Here are our camp offerings for the summer of 2025:
Individual Sports Camps
Our individual sports camps are morning-only, week-long sports camps for kids from 6-13. These camps each focus on a specific sport, helping kids gain new skills and learn how to play the game successfully. These camps run from 9:00 am to 11:45 am from June to August.
The camps offered for these sports camps are:
- Multi-sport (one sport per day)
- Futsal/Soccer
- Flag Football
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Pickleball
A single week of sports camp can cost between $115 and $165, depending on the sports. However, there are also packages available if you are interested in booking multiple weeks or even our entire round of summer programming!
Our individual sports camps can be taken as-is, just as a morning activity, or they can be combined with our afternoon Sports Adventure Camp for a full day of fun!
Sports Adventure Day Camp
The Sports Adventure Camp is a multi-sport, multi-activity experience, also perfect for kids from 6 to 13! After your morning sports camp and lunch provided by Wintrust, afternoon experiences include a variety of fun activities such as dodgeball, obstacle courses, and more!
Full-day camp weeks cost about $240 each, with some variance depending on the week. Similarly, there are also packages available for booking multiple weeks and the entire summer.
